The kids had a great reaction when they discovered the tree the next morning.
(They did a little decorating before bed and then Jared & I finished up.)
Isaac shows Bethany his new favorite hideout.
The tree-- and everything on it, especially the sparkly red bird--
is a strong stall tactic for tired girls before naptime.
I'm sure we would have enjoyed the tree no matter what, but, just like the man that I married for all the right reasons, looking good is just an added bonus.
